We had a few drinks and started talking... you want BOLD predictions? Well, some of these will blow your mindholes...
I have compiled a list of our preseason predictions. They are listed by position. Throughout the year, I may add to this list, so check back periodically…
Catcher:
Salvador Perez will hit .300 with 25 HR & 90 RBI. He will end up being the #1 catcher at the end of the season. (Aran)
First Basemen:
Joey Votto will hit .325 with 30 HR & 105 RBI and be NL MVP. (Nealan)
Matt Adams will hit .300 with 25 HR & 90 RBI, outperformingJoey Votto AND pushing him out of the top 5 at 1B (Aran)
Eric Hosmer will end the year as a top three 1B with a .300 avg, 25 HR, 90 RBI & 20 SB. (Aran)
Second Basemen:
Jedd Gyorko will end the season in the top three at 2B with a .280 avg, 25 HR and 80+ RBI. (Aran)
Third Basemen:
Mike Moustakas will hit .250 with 30 HR (Nealan) or .280 and 25 HR (Aran)
Pablo Sandoval will end the year in the top five at 3B with a .290 avg, 25 HR and 90+RBI. (Aran)
Shortstops:
Jose Reyes will end the year outside of the top 10 at SS. (Aran)
Outfielders:
Bryce Harper will be a top 5 player overall and be fantasy’s MVP with a .300 avg, 35 HR, 100 RBI & 20 SB. (Aran)
Matt Kemp will return to MVP candidacy and be a .290 hitter with 40 HR and 15 SB (Nealan)
Joey Hamilton will bounce back to being a .285 hitter witt 35 HR and 100 RBI. (Nealan)
Colby Rasmus will hit 30 homers with a .275 average. (Nealan)
Dexter Fowler will hit .270 with 20 HR and 20 SB. (Nealan)
Yasiel Puig will be outside of the top 20 OFs at the end of the season AND be ranked lower than Dexter Fowler. (Aran)
Christian Yelich will win the rookie of the year (if he’s eligible). (Nealan)
Starting Pitchers:
Adam Wainwright will fall outside of the top 25 SP at the end of the year. (Aran)
RA Dickey will have a sub 3.50 ERA with 185 Ks. (Nealan)
Masahiro Tanaka will have 15 wins with a sub 3.10 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 200 Ks. (Nealan)

With Brice out this week, I brought in my friend Ryan to sample a few of the scotches he's been able to get in Hawaii. Hawaii is definitely a ways away from Scotland and the UK, but we are still able to get a few good scotches out here...
